Snoop Dogg Hits Number 1 On Top Gospel Album Charts

The rapper’s new album - ‘Bible Of Love’ - has earned him the top spot on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart


Snoop Dogg has scored his first ever Number 1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart with his new gospel LP ‘Bible Of Love’, shifting 5,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 22nd, according to Nielsen Music.

‘Bible Of Love’ is the 16th studio album from the rapper, the 32-track double album features guest collaborations from gospel artists such as Erica Campbell, Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett and Charlie Wilson.

Speaking at the Essence Festival recently, the rapper revealed that he hopes to bring positivity with his new music:

“With all of the negativity happening in the world right now, I figured it was time to do something positive to bring people together,” he said.

“I did my share of bringing dark moments. Now it’s time to bring the light.”
