In light of Fifth Harmony’s break-up, we thought we’d be the voice of optimism and remind you that just because something’s over, doesn’t mean it’s the end. Here are 8 stars that have shown us just that!

Camila Cabello

After a four year stint with Fifth Harmony, in December 2016 Camila Cabello parted ways with the girl-group and it looks like she hasn’t looked back since. Her debut album ‘Camila’ broke various records and the album’s leading single ‘Havana’ became the longest running female Number 1 since Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’. To top it all off, Camila will be hitting the road with Charli XCX this summer as Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation’ tour support act.

Cheryl

Despite not releasing music for the past few years, Cheryl’s career following Girls Aloud’s split has been pretty solid. Her solo music career produced three of the most iconic singles of the last decade, ‘Fight For This Love’, ‘Promise This’ and the Calvin Harris-produced mega-banger ‘Call My Name’. She’s also dating former One Direction star Liam Payne and last year the couple welcomed their first child.

Beyoncé

What has Beyoncé done since Destiny’s Child broke up? More like what hasn’t Beyonce done! After being the lead singer of the one of the world’s best selling girl-groups of all time, Beyoncé embarked on a career as a solo artist. Her solo career began with a bang—her debut album won five GRAMMY Awards and sold over 11 million copies worldwide. Fast forward a few years and Beyoncé now has a grand total of 20 GRAMMY Awards under her belt, she’s also forged a successful acting career and has three children with hip-hop legend husband, Jay-Z. Wowza!

Basically, the whole of One Direction…

Harry

Since leaving 1D, Harry has embarked on an acting career, landing a role in Oscar winning film ‘Dunkirk’. He’s also done a load of TV appearances and even chopped off his famous locks. Oh and his debut album went straight to Number 1, as well as it’s leading single ‘Sign Of The Times’. He’s also currently on a very successful huge world tour. Crikey!

Zayn

Although Zayn’s early departure from One Direction hinted that his music would also be a departure from the pop-rock hits the group became known for, his new sound and songs such as ‘Pillowtalk’ have made it very clear that his PG-related days are over. Since releasing his 2016 album ‘Mind Of Mine’, Zayn  has collaborated with Taylor Swift, PartyNextDoor and Sia. He also recently revealed that he’s finished making his second album and it should be with us pretty soon.

Niall

Following in the footsteps of many celebs, as soon as 1D split, Niall purchased a new £3m home in LA. Boujee! He’s also scored two UK Top 10 hits and released his debut album ‘Flicker’, which made its way to Number 3 in the UK Album charts.

Louis Tomlinson

In 2016 Louis became the first former member of One Direction to become a father! He’s also appeared in an episode of ‘Family Guy’ as well as returning to his ‘X Factor’ roots, but this time as a judge. Not to mention the releasing of his epic hit song ‘Back to You’ featuring Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals on his own label ‘Triple String’.

Liam Payne
